Introducing the Victron Energy EM540 Energy Meter, specifically designed for three-phase monitoring in Victron Energy Storage Systems. This meter serves as a crucial component, measuring both power and energy consumption within the entire application at the distribution box. Alternatively, it can be utilized to measure the output of a PV Inverter, with data seamlessly displayed on the Color Control GX and the VRM Portal.

With a maximum current rating of 65A, the EM540 offers robust performance suitable for a wide range of applications. Seamlessly integrated with the GX device, this meter ensures accurate monitoring and control of energy usage within your system.

The EM540 shares the same core functionalities as the Carlo Gavazzi EM540 meter (EM540DINAV23XS1X) and serves as a replacement for the Victron EM24 RS485 meter. However, it boasts several enhancements over its predecessor. Notably, the EM540 delivers faster measurements, enabling the Energy Storage System to respond more rapidly to fluctuations in energy demand. Furthermore, its compact form factor reduces the space required within cabinets, offering greater flexibility in installation. Additionally, improved access to RS485 connectors simplifies the installation process, enhancing overall usability.

While the ‘EM24 Ethernet successor is currently unavailable, the EM540 Ethernet version ensures continuity in monitoring and control capabilities.
